Residential floor coatings — 15-Year transferable

Interior residential coatings (garages, basements, shops, workshops) installed by SwiftHand Concrete Coatings are warranted for 15 year from the installation date against:

• Peeling or delamination from the concrete
• Hot-tire pickup
• UV yellowing of the polyaspartic topcoat
• Bubbling or blistering caused by workmanship

If any of these occur, we repair or replace the affected area at no charge. The warranty transfers to a new owner of the home; just let us know.

Exterior coatings — 5-year

Patios, porches, steps, walkways and pool decks are warranted for five years against peeling and delamination. Exterior concrete lives a much harder life, and we'd rather state a real number than a 'lifetime' we can't stand behind.

Driveways — 2-year

Polyaspartic driveway overlays are warranted for two years against peeling. Vehicle traffic, plows and de-icers on an exterior slab are the hardest conditions any coating faces; the same is true at every reputable installer, whether they say so or not.

Commercial floors

Warranted per the written scope — typically 2–5 years depending on the system and use. Terms are in every commercial proposal.

What isn't covered

• Cracks that develop in the concrete itself after installation (we fill them; we can't stop a slab from moving)
• Damage from snow chains, steel-edged tools, dragged sharp metal, welding spatter or impact
• Moisture failures where a vapor-barrier primer was recommended and declined
• Staining from spills left for days (wipe them up; the floor is non-porous)
• Structural slab failure, settling or heaving
• Normal wear of the topcoat at high-traffic lines, which is a recoat, not a failure

How to make a claim

Call or text 801-895-3794 or email info@swifthandpainting.com with a photo. The crew lead will come look, usually within a week, and fix it. That's the whole process.
